Portfolio

I’ve overseen creative development, editorial and all aspects of production for many hundreds of projects, mostly really fun stuff in the kids’ digital world. Here’s a selection of my work.

Goviva

This high-end travel site needed someone to write their site copy, and they turned to me, because I’m high end like that. Okay that might be a stretch, but their site is excellent and they were a fantastic group to work with: www.goviva.com

FunGoPlay

The first kids’ virtual world to combine offline, active play and online gaming, FunGoPlay featured over 30 casual single player and multiplayer games. I was the Director of Production for the project, leading all aspects of content development from concept to launch:

We even got on NY1, people!

Avatar: Legends of the Arena

This 3D arena battle game based in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe totally wasn’t inspired by one million hours of Quake III played in the Nick.com office after hours.

The Big Green Help Global Challenge Multiplayer Game

The first ever “Green Third Person Shooter”, this game featured a host of Nicktoons defending a mythical metropolis from an onslaught of toxic baddies. I concepted, wrote & produced this one. Also: longest game name ever, hands down! Click below to check out some gameplay.

Okay so I lied, this Mr. Meaty game had the longest game name of all time–especially when you include the subtitle. Click to play!

SpongeBob SquarePants: Invasion of the Lava King

Nickelodeon’s indispensable invertebrate goes on an epic undersea quest in this adventure RPG:

Avatar: Autumn Twilight

Created to support the launch of the hit series, this massive single player RPG introduced original characters, locations and monsters into the Avatar universe.

Unfortunately it’s not supported on the Nick site anymore–but there’s still a fan Wiki for it!

SpongeBob SquarePants: Game Builder

This sucker was a bear of a sponge to build. A SpongeBear. But many children have wiled away many hours creating many levels of awesomeness, so fair play.
